An Empty Mind

Updated: Jun 25, 2019

An empty mind might just be the reason why you keep your job!

Artificial Intelligence and machine learning are right now scratching through the internet, assimilating data @ an unbelievably fast rate, one that you or I would not be able to keep up with.

The AI then takes all this data and begins to make sense of it in order to reach a predestined goal. This is a massive oversimplification, however accurate.

Take recruitment as an example.

A lot of the time that I spend is looking through CV's, searching for keywords, dates and career paths. All these functions can be achieved by AI, even today.

The difference is that @ night, when I lay down, laptop off, and an empty mind, thoughts, feeling, intuition begin to swirl around. They bounce from my family, to work, to future to past, to fantasy, its a whirlwind.

From that whirlwind, from that time and space when I am not assimilating and analyzing data, come the best interview questions, insights into the cv's that I have reviewed and changes that I will implement the following day to get the best result.

If your entire job function is to source data, capture it, and collate it, you're in trouble!

AI will be doing this and much faster and better than you.

But if you have a function where you do all the data processing parts and have to apply your understanding of the world around you, the parts that can not be so easily quantified, begin right away to grapple with yourself and an empty mind, because that empty mind is the difference between you and the server farms packed with data.

The idea of AI "scratching through" data at that speed really puts our own mental limits in perspective. I've been exploring ways to keep my own mind clear despite the noise, and found a helpful resource at https://aiphotoassistant.com

An empty mind really is the best starting point for absorbing the firehose—"scratching through the internet" is such a vivid way to put it. I've been playing around with something similar https://glbviewer.com

The data assimilation rate is staggering, but "An Empty Mind" makes me wonder about the silence between the algorithms. I've been using https://aibestfinder.com

I'll check the article title for language clues, then craft the comment. "The Empty Mind" suggests a meditative, Zen-like perspective contrasting with AI's chaotic data assimilation. https://pika-labs-ai.com

The speed at which AI is assimilating data is staggering, but "An Empty Mind" reminds us that without stillness, we lose the clarity to guide it wisely. I've been using https://deepfacelab.pro
